3-Day Ndutu Migration Safari from Arusha (2 Nights Ndutu)
Experience Tanzania’s Great Migration on this exciting 3-Day Ndutu Migration Safari from Arusha, designed to bring you close to one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife events. This short safari focuses on the famous calving season in the Ndutu Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem, where thousands of wildebeest gather to give birth each year.
During the migration season, the Ndutu plains become a wildlife-rich landscape filled with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. This abundance of animals attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, creating exciting wildlife viewing opportunities. The open plains also provide excellent visibility, making Ndutu one of the best places for photography and close wildlife encounters.
Your safari includes two nights at Safari Haven Camp Ndutu, located near important migration routes. This prime location increases your chances of seeing newborn calves and predator activity during the calving season, usually from December to March.
The adventure also includes a visit to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, known for its beautiful scenery and high concentration of wildlife. Here, you may spot the Big Five, including the rare Black rhino.
This safari is perfect for travellers with limited time who want to experience the Great Migration in a short but unforgettable journey.
