Fly from Zanzibar - Tarangire Park
Start your morning as our taxi driver picks you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and drives you to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and driven to Tarangire National Park, famous for its impressive elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a morning game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birds. After a packed lunch in the park, continue exploring this unique ecosystem.
In the late afternoon, check in at Marera Valley Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner in a peaceful setting.
Ngorongoro Crater – Return Flight to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see lions, elephants, zebras, and perhaps even a rare black rhino. A picnic lunch by the hippo pool adds a unique touch to your safari experience. In the afternoon, return to Arusha Airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar.

Two years after my first trip with MyTrip2Tanzania I travelled to Arusha again. Our guide Joachim led us on the three-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro to countless experiences and we were able to learn a lot about the wildlife! The big highlight of course is that we saw the Big Five! We stayed at the Into Wild Lodge, also marked with many events and the comfort and service left nothing to be desired. Philbert has planned the trip excellently and through the hospitality we felt so comfortable that saying goodbye is difficult for us much. Looking forward to my next trip with MyTrip2Tanzania!
