2 DAY MID-RANGE LODGE SAFARI: TARANGIRE & LAKE MANYARA

This 2-day mid-range lodge safari offers a combination of two distinct parks Tarangire & lake Manyara, each with its own unique features. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, while Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and birdlife.

ARRIVAL

  • Meet and greet at the airport or in Arusha with a representative from MyTrip2Tanzania.
  • Proceed to your accommodation and obtain the travel schedule for the whole journey.
  • Dinner and overnight at Under the Shades Lodge

DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

  • Depart from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast for approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
  • Spend the day exploring the park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse bird species.
  • Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
  • Enjoy a full day game drive exploring the park’s wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
  • Dinner and Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

  • Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and beautiful landscapes.
  • in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife as it the home of more than 500 species of birds.
  • Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
  • After the game drive, return to Arusha for overnight or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
  • Dinner and overnight at Under the Shades Lodge

DEPARTURE

  • On your last day with us, depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha for your next destination.
  • This safari can be combined with a Zanzibar beach or road trip; feel free to ask us about this option.
