Best 2-Day Adventure Safari to Tarangire & Crater offers a combination of two distinct parks, each with its own unique features. Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park Safari
After breakfast, MyTrip2Tanzania guide will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park to begin your Best 2-Day Adventure Safari. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and a variety of wildlife like lions, giraffes, and zebras.

  • Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
    Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot the elusive black rhino, along with other incredible wildlife such as lions, elephants, and wildebeest. The early hours provide the best chance for wildlife sightings as animals are more active.
    After your game drive, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch by the lake, where you can observe hippos basking in the water, along with a variety of birdlife around the shores. The stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere make for the perfect spot to relax.
    In the afternoon, you’ll begin your drive back to Arusha.

    Travel Tips

    Visa
    To enter Tanzania, most traveler's require a tourist or business visa. You can apply for an e-visa online or obtain a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and has one blank page. Apply through the official Tanzania Immigration website for an e-visa or obtain a visa on arrival at major entry points.


    Yellow fever
    Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from Countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.This also applies to those who have transited through such countries for 12 hours or more. Upon arrival, you must present a valid vaccination certificate


    Zanzibar Insurance Policy
    As of October 1, 2024, Zanzibar requires all visitors (excluding residents) to obtain mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) for the duration of their stay, up to 92 days.

    Where to Buy: Only available through Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) International travel insurance policies are not accepted; only the ZIC policy meets the entry requirements. It's advisable to purchase the insurance in advance to avoid delays upon arrival.
