Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL
Meet a MyTrip2Tanzania representative at the airport or in Arusha, proceed to your accommodation, and receive your 7-Day Tanzania Safari Adventure schedule.

  • Dinner and Overnight at Under the shades Safari Lodge

    • Day 2: Tarangire National Park 
    After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive, spotting elephants, baobabs, and a variety of wildlife.

  • Dinner & Overnight at Eileens Tree Lodge or Similar.

    • Day 3 & 4: Serengeti National Park
    On Day 5, journey to Serengeti, with a scenic drive and a half-day game drive after lunch. On Day 6, enjoy a full day of exploration in Serengeti with flexible game drives, spotting the Big Five and other wildlife, including lion prides and cheetahs.

    • Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
    Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a haven for diverse wildlife and the best chance to spot rhinos in Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake while watching hippos and flamingos in their natural habitat. Afterward, drive to Mto wa Mbu

    • Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
    After breakfast, journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Discover its diverse habitats, spotting climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and the largest concentration of baboons in the world. Enjoy lunch by the lake with stunning views of the Rift Valley escarpment. Around 2 p.m., begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving between 4–6 p.m.

    • Day 7: DEPARTURE
    On your final day, depart from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, with the option to extend your safari with a Zanzibar beach or road trip—just ask us!

    Visa
    To enter Tanzania, most traveler's require a tourist or business visa. You can apply for an e-visa online or obtain a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and has one blank page. Apply through the official Tanzania Immigration website for an e-visa or obtain a visa on arrival at major entry points.

    Yellow fever
    Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from Countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.This also applies to those who have transited through such countries for 12 hours or more. Upon arrival, you must present a valid vaccination certificate

    Zanzibar Insurance Policy
    As of October 1, 2024, Zanzibar requires all visitors (excluding residents) to obtain mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) for the duration of their stay, up to 92 days.

    Where to Buy: Only available through Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) International travel insurance policies are not accepted; only the ZIC policy meets the entry requirements. It's advisable to purchase the insurance in advance to avoid delays upon arrival.
