3-Day Short Safari

3-Day short safari to Tarangire, Manyara & Ngorongoro Safari gives you the chance to explore three iconic parks in a short time. In Tarangire, spot large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Lake Manyara offers tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. The Ngorongoro Crater, known for its rich wildlife, gives you the chance to see lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and more. This safari ensures amazing wildlife sightings and unforgettable experiences.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Start your 3-Day short safari by heading to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Spend the day exploring the park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse bird species. Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area. Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge


Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart early for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can spot the rare black rhino, lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. Birdlife includes flamingos on Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Lunch will be served at the picnic site in the Crater, at Ngoitokitok Swamp—a hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge


Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and stunning landscapes, the park is home to more than 500 species of birds, along with hippos, monkeys, flamingos, and other wildlife. Lunch will be provided at a picnic area around noon. After the game drive, return to Arusha, marking the end of your 3-Day short safari.

    Visa
    To enter Tanzania, most traveler's require a tourist or business visa. You can apply for an e-visa online or obtain a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and has one blank page. Apply through the official Tanzania Immigration website for an e-visa or obtain a visa on arrival at major entry points.


    Yellow fever
    Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from Countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.This also applies to those who have transited through such countries for 12 hours or more. Upon arrival, you must present a valid vaccination certificate


    Zanzibar Insurance Policy
    As of October 1, 2024, Zanzibar requires all visitors (excluding residents) to obtain mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) for the duration of their stay, up to 92 days.

    Where to Buy: Only available through Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) International travel insurance policies are not accepted; only the ZIC policy meets the entry requirements. It's advisable to purchase the insurance in advance to avoid delays upon arrival.
