Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti
After breakfast, depart from Arusha at 7 a.m. for a scenic 3-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands. Enjoy a lunch stop at Serengeti Gate, then continue with a half-day game drive. Arrive at your lodge Into Wild Africa Luxury Tented Camp by 6 p.m for dinner & overnight.
Highlights: Immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes and panoramic views from the Ngorongoro viewpoint, with the option to visit a Maasai village for an additional cost.


Day 2: Serengeti Full Day
Spend the entire day exploring the central or southern Serengeti, maximising your chances of witnessing the Great Migration and encountering diverse wildlife. For a unique perspective, consider a hot air balloon safari (optional and subject to availability). Lunch will be provided at a picnic area around noon. Dinner and overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp


Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart early for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can spot the rare black rhino, lions, leopards, elephants, and hippos. Birdlife includes flamingos on Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Lunch will be served at the picnic site in the Crater, at Ngoitokitok Swamp—a hippo pool. Accommodation After the tour can be arranged upon request for an additional cost.

    Visa
    To enter Tanzania, most traveler's require a tourist or business visa. You can apply for an e-visa online or obtain a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and has one blank page. Apply through the official Tanzania Immigration website for an e-visa or obtain a visa on arrival at major entry points.


    Yellow fever
    Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from Countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission. This also applies to those who have transited through such countries for 12 hours or more. Upon arrival, you must present a valid vaccination certificate.


    Zanzibar Insurance Policy
    As of October 1, 2024, Zanzibar requires all visitors (excluding residents) to obtain mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) for the duration of their stay, up to 92 days.

    Only available through Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) International travel insurance policies are not accepted; only the ZIC policy meets the entry requirements. It's advisable to purchase the insurance in advance to avoid delays upon arrival.
