Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at the airport or in Arusha, a MyTrip2Tanzania representative will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation. You will receive your 13-Day Ultimate Luxury Safari & Zanzibar Adventure schedule. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Gran Melia Hotel in Arusha.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, start on a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Spot large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and predators such as lions and leopards. Birdwatchers will enjoy the park’s over 500 species, including vibrant lilac-breasted rollers. Return to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 & 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Travel to Serengeti, where you’ll enjoy a scenic drive and a half-day game drive after lunch. On Day 4, experience a full day of exploration with flexible game drives, witnessing the Big Five and abundant wildlife. The seasonal Great Migration is a major highlight, as well as Maasai village visits. Stay at Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented Safari Camp.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER
Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to abundant wildlife, including rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, surrounded by flamingos and hippos. Afterward, head to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Suricata Boma.

DAY 6: LAKE MANYARA
Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and stunning landscapes, the park also offers sightings of flamingos, hippos, and monkeys. Enjoy lunch at a picnic spot before returning to Arusha for overnight at Gran Melia Hotel.

DAY 7–12: ARUSHA TO ZANZIBAR
Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar and begin your beach holiday. Spend the next few days enjoying Zanzibar’s stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and delicious cuisine. Optional activities include dolphin tours, snorkeling, or exploring Stone Town’s historical sites. Stay at a luxury beach resort with all-inclusive services.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE
Your safari adventure concludes with a transfer from your hotel to Zanzibar airport for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tanzania and Zanzibar.

    VISA
    To enter Tanzania, most traveler's require a tourist or business visa. You can apply for an e-visa online or obtain a visa on arrival at designated entry points. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date and has one blank page. Apply through the official Tanzania Immigration website for an e-visa or obtain a visa on arrival at major entry points.

    YELLOW FEVER
    Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers arriving from Countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission.This also applies to those who have transited through such countries for 12 hours or more. Upon arrival, you must present a valid vaccination certificate

    ZANZIBAR INSURANCE POLICY
    As of October 1, 2024, Zanzibar requires all visitors (excluding residents) to obtain mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) for the duration of their stay, up to 92 days.

    Where to Buy: Only available through Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) International travel insurance policies are not accepted; only the ZIC policy meets the entry requirements. It's advisable to purchase the insurance in advance to avoid delays upon arrival.
