14 DAYS SAFARI & ZANZIBAR COMBO

Combining a safari experience with a visit to Zanzibar is a fantastic way to enjoy both the wildlife and natural beauty of Tanzania, as well as the stunning beaches and rich culture of the Zanzibar archipelago.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

• Meet and greet at the airport or in Arusha with a representative from MyTrip2Tanzania.
• Proceed to your accommodation and obtain the travel schedule for the whole journey.
• Dinner and Overnight at Under the Shades Safari Lodge

DAY 2: ARUSHA TOWN TOUR

• Arusha is a vibrant town in Tanzania, often referred to as the “Safari Capital of East Africa” due to its proximity to several national parks and wildlife reserves.
• Experience the vivid colours and rich cultural diversity of the Maasai people by going to the Maasai Market. Traditional crafts, jewellery, clothes, and other handcrafted goods are available.
• Explore the Cultural Heritage Centre, which showcases Tanzanian art, crafts, and artifacts. It’s a great place to learn about the country’s diverse cultures and pick up some souvenirs.
• The Shwari restaurant will serve lunch at approximately noon.
• Dinner and Overnight at Under the Shades Safari Lodge

DAY 3: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

• Start your safari adventure from Arusha by heading to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes approximately 2–3 hours.
• Spend the day exploring the park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse bird species.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
• Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

• Heading to Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the way.
• Arrive in the central or southern Serengeti and embark on an afternoon game drive.
• Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, so be on the lookout for wildebeests, zebras, and predators.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Dinner and Overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

• Spend the entire day exploring the central or southern Serengeti, maximising your chances of witnessing the Great Migration and encountering diverse wildlife.
• Consider a hot-air balloon safari for a unique perspective (optional and subject to availability).
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• Dinner and Overnight at Into Wild Africa Tented Camp

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

• Depart early in the morning, after breakfast, for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, known for its stunning Ngorongoro Crater.
• Descending 600m deep into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, which hosts varieties of animals including the rare black rhino, lion, leopard, elephants, and hippos, Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more.
• Lunch will be served on the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitokitok Swamp, a hippo pool.
• Dinner and overnight at Manyara Safari Lodge

DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

• Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and beautiful landscapes.
• in Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife, as it is the home of more than 500 species of birds.
• Around noon, lunch will be provided at the picnic area.
• After the game drive, return to Arusha for overnight or Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
• Dinner and Overnight at Under the Shades Safari Lodge

DAY 8–13: ARUSHA TO ZANZIBAR BEACH

• Transfer by road to Kilimanjaro/Arusha airport
• Meet and greet at the airport with our Zanzibar taxi driver.
• Transfer by road from the airport to Sunset Kendwa, approximately 1 hour drive
• Hotel check-in and beach time
• Beach time and relaxation
• Baraka Aquarium/Dolphin Tour/Snorkelling (option)
• Bed and Breakfast at Sunset Kendwa Zanzibar 

DAY 14: DEPARTURE
